Making ready for #11!

I just had my 11th Grandchild! Of course she is beautiful and all of the wonderful things that a newborn brings into the home. Oh they smell so good. I’m very fortunate that I live in the same house as this beautiful baby. Izabella Jordanne Baxter was born on May 23, 2014. She was 5 lbs. 7 oz. 18 1/2″ long. She looks like a little fairy. I told her parents to watch out because fairies will find these beautiful babies and live a changeling instead. Ha ha! How to get the Old World Patina on painted furniture.

I am doing an experiment in finding a way to get the old world patina on this old chair. I painted the chair a pretty light pink but it didn’t give me the distressed look that I wanted. So I hope that trying this new way will work. Continue reading
