I really love displaying patriot things in my home.
Being that I have a Son in the Navy, a Grandfather that was a Chief of Police, and a Father that was a Legislator my heart goes out to our beautiful country and the freedoms that other countries do not have. I think that’s why I say my decor is Romantic Farmhouse than Shabby Chic, (I decorated in what I call Romantic Farmhouse before I even knew that someone else named it Shabby Chic!). Crazy right?!
Here are a few fun vignettes that I have in my home. Enjoy!
I just have to have a Uncle Sam watching over things.
I use blue and white every I can.
A lovely quilted flag.
A close up of my Uncle Sam.
This is my entrance way with some great flags. The one at the back flew over my parents ranch for years.
This flag flew over my Grandparents home for a long time.
I always look at the religous side of the 4th.
“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.”
by- Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa
Enjoy your lovely 4th of July week and always give thanks.
