An up do for Kitchen Table, Chairs, and Hutch

Good day to you all! I hope that you are all enjoying the beautiful Fall weather. It has given me the inspiration that I have needed to do some things in my house. I have been wanting to change the look of my kitchen furniture for a while now, to infuse some of those great Nordic colors into my home. I didn’t have to paint much just a touch, here is what I did.

In this picture shows the table top with the burlap table runner that I make for it. I bought the bottle holder and put my blue Kerr jars on it to keep with the blue aqua that I trim my home in.

On my front chair I used a little chalk paint and wrote a little saying that says ” Welcome to my little peace of heaven.” It adds a personal touch, and I can always change it when ever I feel like it. I used a chalk pen, they work so much better than chalk and it wipes right off with water.

The patina on the table turned out great, I only had to put a light coat of the paint that I mixed up.

Here is what the table and chairs used to look like. I am really loving the change.

This is the finished results of the table set. I love how they turned out. It gives that soft muted effect of the French Nordic look that I adore.

The only thing that I did to my hutch was to paint the back drop the same color as the table. I added a little dark brown paint and applied it with a sponge to add some highlights, I also painted the knobs the same color.

This is another angle of the hutch.

Here is the difference between the two colors of the hutch, which do you like the best?

I hope you enjoyed this post, whether you like Shabby Chic, French Nordic, Romantic Farmhouse, or only want to use just a few touches of all design, start today and make some changes, make sure that you love them and it will always turn out great!

Thanx for stopping by, check back for more fun flavors as I add Fall and French Nordic design into the mix. Have a happy day!

It’s all LOVERLY!
