Happy, happy day everyone I’m so glad that you have come for a visit! I’ve been making pillow covers that match my French Nordic + Shabby Chic + Prairie Style = Romantic Farmhouse.
Here is an easy way to make them.
I used an old sheet to make the ones shown (no expense). I am making 18″ X 18″ pillows. So I measure out 19 X 42 inches. For different sizes add or subtract 2 inches.
Sew a small hem on each end of the fabric. . .
so it looks like this on each.
I wanted some shabby ruffles on these so I pinned and sewed on three rows of them.
Pin and sew the sides.
Inside out the cover and insert your pillow form. These covers are so easy and inexpensive.
Here are the other pillows that I made, all in a beautiful neutral tones.
I really love the look.
Here is a lovely new ornament that I made. I used some darling Victorian photos on them.
I also need to brag today and tell my Son Nathan how proud I am for becoming a member of the Unified Fire Department in Salt Lake City. He has worked very hard to get here.
Have a fun time making holiday decor, this is such a great time of year to do so!
Life is so LOVERLY when you are doing what you love!
Thanx to all my dear friends!
