Welcome dear blogging friends!
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about what would be most interesting for you visitors and that wouldn’t be redundant to you.
Then I realized that for the first few months of blogging I didn’t have any followers or readers and not knowing how to get them until I ask around to different bloggers. Reaching out to the blogging community was one of the best things that I did because they were all so helpful. Crazy girl me! lol I was so new at blogging that everything I did was trial and error. So I am going take you back to some of my first few posts.
Here is my very Shabby Chic sitting room area. I hardly have any French Nordic design thrown in yet. I didn’t have much money so I used all of the ingenuity that I had to give it a Shabby Chic look.
This is a look of my mantle with my favorite art work above.
Here are a few more changes to the sitting room. Lots of flowers and a vintage alarm clocks are on the step-ladder.
My large picture has been painted at least four different colors now. You just got to love paint!
This picture was from my very first post. The silver water picture was a vintage find for 5 bucks, and the brass candles sticks were my Mother’s. I always save and dry my roses. I buy a dozen roses for myself once a month. They are great to use in vignettes, and they make me feel special.
This was a fun way to display a wreath. The antique frame is now painted white, and the sheet music it from my Grandmother. I am big on keeping things that were my ancestors. I’m very sentimental.
Here is a fun post that I did with two of my grandsons clowning around.
Here is a picture of me trying different colors and switching around my vignettes. At this time in my life I had a lot of painted colored furniture and used mostly pastels. Now I do almost every thing in white and put in small bursts of color.
What is fun for me is that somebody is actually seeing these pictures know. I hope you enjoyed my little tour through the past. If you are interested in seeing some of my first few posts go to my archives. Stay tune for more! Have a lovely day dear friends.
