The Black Hat Society

Come and join me for a look at The Black Hat Society!

On the 20th of October I was invited to a tea with the Black Hat Society. Now this is a very special tea it’s not just for anyone, oh know. First of all you have to receive a special invite from Paula Perkins from Pollyanna Reinvents blog to come. Secondly you have to come in full proper attire.

witch me 2

Here I am ready for my ride to fly me away to the witchy tea! I have never felt so free than coming as my true self! lol

Witch Jann

Many of my witchy blogging friends flew in for the fun. Jann from Have a Cup of Mrs. Olson blog and her friend Ann, flew down for the fun. Loving their attire!

witch Joanne

Ann and Joanne flew in for this special advent to.

Come along for the ride as I show you a truly wonderful home full of members of The Black Hat Society.

witch red

witch all

Trina from Tea Time with Trina blog was my ride. She so graciously offered to pick me up and she had to fly a long way to do that. Thanks my sweet friend!  Note the great stockings and shoes.

witch Trina

Here is my sister witch Trina enjoying every nook and cranny of this old home.

witch stove

Of course a witch has to have her black stove and Dr. Pepper. It’s an important ingredient.

witch counter

Look at this great counter top. Got to love the black and white tiles.

witch brick wall

What a great kitchen in this old home, I just have to photograph brick walls when I see them inside of a house, it’s one of my weaknesses in decorating.

witch pumpkin

witch candle sticks

As we leave the kitchen we enter the dinning room, I just love these great candelabras, they speak to me, as well as many things do in this house. Ghostly crew!!!!!!!!!

witch buffet

Look at this hutch, and the wall paper is to die for. ha ha ha!

witch table

This was such a great spread.

witch doorway

Look at this door way, my heart has skipped a beat!

witch Paula

After having a snack and a cup of tea we went into the sitting room for a fun-filled crazy meeting. This is Paula – in the center – she was the host of The Black Hat Society. Thanks so much Paula for allowing all of these crazy witches to come into your home!

witch belly dancer

We were even entertained by a witchy belly dancer! We all had a lot of fun being our silly selves. The best part was meeting new friends and being together.

witch hall way

Look at this amazing stairway. This house was an amazing old home that is in the town of Payson Utah.

witch shoes

I wish that I had taken some pics of the outside of the house and Paula’s darling garden cottage it really was amazing. Paula deals in vintage and antique items. She has some great pieces in her home.

Gotta love this time of year!

Hugs, Jo

  2. Oh Jo I am so loving this post. First up you look cleverly witchy and your attire was so thought out and perfect for the occasion. WOW how COOL!!! Second this party is totally feastive and thank you for including the houses décor for it truly not only is amazing but with your special cobweb effects it guided us through a bewitching event. Oh lucky you my friend, I’ve never received such a must attend event invite. Thanks for this wonderful spooky share and you cast a spell of enjoyment over us all.

    • You always look darling. I feel like our little group has brought all together much higher than us, I’ve been asking what he wants us to do. Toss it around in your mind and think about something that 6 goofy design bloggers could do to help the Lord? I have to follow my prompting. Hugs, Jo
