A Romantic Farmhouse Bathroom

Welcome to my little nest today. It seems more like a den with all of the snow that we are having, but it certainly is very beautiful and I am so grateful for the water that we will have in the Salt Lake valley this year, so I will not complain.

I live in a home that was built in 1960, and a little over 4 years ago it was totally gutted and remodeled. I live in a basement apartment with it’s very own kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms (one belongs to my two grandsons) and a huge living area. It is plenty big enough for me. My Son and DIL live up stairs and their two girls have each a bedroom there as well. The yard is huge and fenced, with a great patio. The only thing that would be great is to have a garage instead of a carport and a little room for storage.

This sweet home houses all seven of us. It’s sits on the side of a beautiful mountain range and over looks the Great Salt Lake. The City I live in is called Bountiful, and it is true to it’s name.

I have been ask by several followers to share my bathroom. My bathroom is very small but I think that it is very lovely. It was a huge shower tiled in a wonderful dark gray. The walls through out my nest are a dove gray and the trim is white. All of the fixtures are lovely and new.

Here you get a good look at the pedestal sink and the new old pink cabinet that I redid.

Here a old chippy shelf hangs above the towel rack that I hang many lovely’s.

Sitting on the chippy shelf sits a great rusty can filled with flowers, old blue bottles and a pink chippy frame.

I’ve started to add some soft colors back into my color palette this year for a change. I’m really loving it.

A oval mirror hangs above the sink and a blue Ball jar is used for my soap dispenser.

Lots of fun pretties just because. I will never be a minimalist, I don’t think romantics can. I like to many things, but many are headed to my shop, but I’m very sure that I will be replacing them. lol

  1. Jo very romantic and full of charm. Thanks for sharing. I too have a Pedestal sink and love it. Your ruffled shower curtain is very pretty and flirty. Very sweet photo with the little girl and cello.

  2. I liked how you created more hanging space with the small ladder–great idea! The little angel on the cabinet knob is so sweet, too. Thanks for sharing!

  7. It’s a beautiful Bath Anne. I love the Dove grey on the walls. Yum! It is as lovely as the rest of your home. You always put the best touches on everything you do.

  8. I love that your town is called Bountiful and that you live in a multi- generational situation. I don’t think that will happen for me because our children don’t live in town. We don’t plan to leave the beach.

Your bathroom is wonderful – so much fun eye candy. It makes me think that I need to add a few more cute things to our bathroom.
