A Romantic Christmas

Welcome everyone to the Creative Christmas linky party!  How fun is this to get to inside of everyone’s home at Christmas time. I love going for a drive and looking at the home’s that are already for Christmas. I love seeing their Christmas tree shinning through the front windows, and often wonder what it must look like inside. Continue reading

Family Heirlooms

Welcome, Welcome! To Anne’s Attic – design!

Thank you to many of you who have entered my apron give away. I wish that it were possible to give all of you one. I have had so many sweet replies about your favorite color, what I find amazing is that you all like different colors, very much like a rainbow. For those of you who have not entered make sure that you do by telling me your favorite color and why. Continue reading

Painting Pumpkins with Children

Hello, hello everyone! I’m so glad that you have stopped by to see what’s going on at Anne’s Attic – design. I’m sure that many of you have been having a fun time celebrating Fall and doing great Halloween projects. I want to share one that I did with my grandchildren.

We have a tradition to go and pick out their own personal little pumpkin and then to bring it home and paint it anyway they want!

After last years painting party I decided to take the children’s shirts off to spare their mother grief. Acrylic’s really doesn’t come out of clothing very well. The children started out painting cute faces on their pumpkins but then decided that they weren’t getting enough painting time in so they painted their pumpkins their favorite colors. Next year grandma will get them each two pumpkins. They had a ball, I was really surprised that most of the paint was on the pumpkin and not one them! LOL

What kind of traditions do you have in your family? I would love it if you would share your Fall and Halloween traditions with me whether they be with or without pumpkins.

See you soon! Have a great Fall day!

Life is LOVERLY when we are doing what we love!
